General Terms
These Terms & Conditions (“General Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Services. They
constitute the entire agreement between you and Six In The City.
By checking the acceptance box during registration, you confirm that you have read, understood,
and agreed to these Terms.
If you do not agree, you may not access the Services.
Eligibility & Access
To use the Services, you confirm that:
- you are a natural person (not a company);
- you are at least 18 years old or of legal contractual age in your country;
- you are acting as a consumer, not for professional purposes;
- you have legal capacity to enter into a contract;
- you are legally permitted to use the Services;
- you have not been convicted of serious, sexual, or violent crimes (unless pardoned for non-
violent offenses);
- you have not previously been banned, unless explicitly authorized by Six In The City.
- By continuing and entering your email you are confirming that you are a woman and,
although we take this very seriously, we are not liable for false user representations.
Description of Services
Six In The City facilitates introductions between individuals for dinners or social events based on
shared preferences.
We do not guarantee:
- specific age ranges;
- compatibility between participants;
- that you will not meet the same participants again.
Venues and Reservations
Six In The City facilitates venue reservations only.
Preferences such as dietary choices are treated as guidelines, not guarantees.
We do not guarantee:
- menu availability;
- allergy safety or absence of cross-contamination;
- accommodation of dietary restrictions.
Participants remain responsible for reviewing menus and assessing suitability.
Changes or rescheduling are not guaranteed.
Events & Participation
Event duration is determined by participants.
Venue details are shared two weeks before the event and may change due to unforeseen
circumstances.
Attendance is strictly individual, guests are not permitted.
Event fees do not include food or beverages, which remain the participant’s responsibility.
Budget indicators are estimates and may vary based on location and pricing changes.
Cancellations & No-Shows
Tickets are non-refundable.
Cancellations within the stated cancellation period are eligible to be rescheduled but not refunded.
Late cancellations and no-shows are non-refundable.
Repeated cancellations may result in suspension or account termination.
Tickets, Payments & Pricing
Tickets are sold as one, time access to the event.
Ticket prices are displayed on the Platform. Promotions are time-limited.
Payments are made on the platform via yoco.
Participant Responsibilities
You agree to:
- provide accurate information;
- comply with applicable laws;
- respect community guidelines.
Prohibited conduct includes misrepresentation, harassment, fraud, unauthorized commercial
activity, or harmful content.
Prohibited Activities & Content
You agree not to:
- Misrepresent your identity, age, or affiliations.
- Solicit personal, financial, or sensitive information from other users.
- Engage in political campaigning or election interference beyond expressing personal
opinions.
- Share private, confidential, or proprietary information without authorization.
- Use Six In The City references, meta tags, or similar tools to redirect users to unrelated
platforms.
- Develop, access, or use third-party tools or applications that interact with the Services
without written permission.
- Create a new account after suspension or termination without our explicit authorization.
You must also refrain from:
- Using the Services for unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive purposes.
- Violating applicable laws, regulations, or contractual obligations.
- Promoting third-party services or engaging in unauthorized commercial activity.
- Sharing content that is offensive, misleading, or infringes on third-party rights (including
intellectual property or privacy).
Zero-Tolerance Policy
Six In The City enforces a zero-tolerance policy toward illegal substances. Any possession, use,
distribution, or promotion of illegal drugs or controlled substances at a Six In The City event, may
result in immediate removal from the event and, where appropriate, reporting to relevant
authorities, without refund or compensation.
Image & Likeness
By attending events, you consent to the use of your image or voice for promotional purposes for
up to 10 years.
Confidentiality & Data Protection
Both parties agree to protect confidential information.
Liability
Six In The City is not responsible for:
- Personal injury
- Illness or allergic reactions
- Lost or stolen items
- Venue hazards or accidents
Alcohol consumption is at the participant’s discretion
Transportation to/from events remains the user’s responsibility
Force Majeure
Neither party is liable for delays or failures caused by force majeure events under South African
law.
Six In The City reserves the right to modify or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. All
changes become effective upon posting. Continued use of the platform or attendance at any event
constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
